If earthly wisdom brings success, how much more heavenly wisdom! It enriches you in all the ways that matter most.
Blessed is the one who finds wisdom, and the one who gets understanding, for the gain from her is better than gain from silver and her profit better than gold. She is more precious than jewels, and nothing you desire can compare with her. Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor. Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace. She is a tree of life to those who lay hold of her; those who hold her fast are called blessed. (Proverbs 3:13-18 cf. 8:1-21)
If that was true in Solomon’s time, how much more when we know Christ! He is “the power of God and the wisdom of God” (1 Corinthians 1:24). In Him we enjoy “all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge” (Colossian 2:3). In Him, we receive “every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places” (Ephesians 1:3).

- go deeper into God’s word, knowing Him more fully.
- pursue life’s most meaningful purpose.
- fulfill all the potential for which you were created.
- break the hold of sinful habits, to grow into the new, Christ-like self.
- experience high adventures of faith and love.
- develop caring relationships in the home and the church family.
- build a lasting legacy for those who come after you.
- be free from the fear of death, assured of an eternal home with God.
- meet the Creator face to face with complete confidence because of His Son.
“You were called, that you may obtain a blessing” (1 Peter 3:9). Claim it with open arms! Then, extend your hands to bless others.
