Finally, after this life’s journey, God welcomes us to live with Him forever. Yes, He welcomes even our bodies. Our dead bodies will be raised by Christ when He returns. He will change or “transform” our bodies so that they fit eternal life in God’s awesome presence.
Christ… will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body (Philippians 3:21).
God raised the Lord and will also raise us up by his power (1 Corinthians 6:14).
If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you (Romans 8:11).
