  • Officers organize the people for entering Canaan (Joshua 1:10; 3:2).
  • Men go to war, leaving the women and children (Joshua 1:14-15; 7:2, 4; 14:13).
  • Priests are prominent in marches (Joshua 3:3-6; 6:4-16).
  • God has twelve men build the Jordan monument (Joshua 4:1-9).
  • Children will ask their fathers about the monument (Joshua 4:21).
  • Joshua publicly reads the law to elders, officers, judges and all the people (Joshua 8:33-35).
  • Heads of the fathers’ houses” receive cities (Joshua 21:1-3).
  • Joshua summons elders, heads, judges and officers (Joshua 23:1-2; 24:1).
  • A review lists fathers: Terah, Abraham, Nahor, Isaac, Jacob, Esau, Moses and Aaron (Joshua 24:2-5).
  • An angel appears in the form of a man (Joshua 5:13-15).
