The day of your rebirth is the most important day of your life, more important than even your fleshly birthday. Remember the words of Jesus,
“That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit” (John 3:6).
The first birth is a wonderful event, a living gift for an earthly family. But fleshly life must eventually end in death. Now, through the second birth,1 the Spirit gives you spiritual life. You enter God’s family that lives forever.
