On the last day, those who follow Jesus will be sure to have life and freedom from punishment because of his heart of forgiveness.

Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Apostle Paul’s Letter to the Romans 8.1

Jesus opens the doors of heaven for those who will follow his teachings. Those of us who believe in him as Lord of our lives will rejoice. We can rejoice not because we are good, but because God is good. It is not due to our own goodness or our ability to obey. It is because of his great kindness that He can forgive us for not being like Him. This is called grace, and by that grace we are saved because we believe in Jesus, not because we are perfect. We can be sure of this eternal friendship with God, just as we are sure the Lord made heaven and earth.

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Apostle Paul’s Letter to the Ephesians 2.8-10

We wonder at the greatness of God’s creation of the universe. We can hardly imagine his power and will. We should also be at peace in his never-ending grace and love. Just as great as his power, his grace is never-ending in Jesus Christ
