Lamps “You shall command the people of Israel that they bring to you pure beaten olive oil for the light, that a lamp may regularly be set up to burn. In the tent of meeting, outside the veil that is before the testimony, Aaron and his sons shall tend it from evening to morning before the Lord. It shall be a statute forever to be observed throughout their generations by the people of Israel” (Exodus 27:20-21).

Incense “Aaron shall burn fragrant incense on it [the altar]. Every morning when he dresses the lamps he shall burn it, and when Aaron sets up the lamps at twilight, he shall burn it, a regular incense offering before the Lord throughout your generations” (Exodus 30:7-8).

Sabbath “Six days shall work be done, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of solemn rest, holy to the Lord. Whoever does any work on the Sabbath day shall be put to death. Therefore the people of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, observing the Sabbath throughout their generations, as a covenant forever. It is a sign forever between Me and the people of Israel that in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day He rested and was refreshed” (Exodus 31:15-17).

Aaronic Priesthood “Anoint them, as you anointed their father [Aaron], that they may serve Me as priests. And their anointing shall admit them to a perpetual priesthood throughout their generations” (Exodus 40:15 cf. Exodus 29:9; God’s “covenant of a perpetual priesthood” with Phinehas, Numbers 25:11-13).

Day of Atonement “For on this day shall atonement be made for you to cleanse you. You shall be clean before the Lord from all your sins. It is a Sabbath of solemn rest to you, and you shall afflict yourselves; it is a statute forever” (Leviticus 16:30-31).

Feast of First Fruits “And you shall eat neither bread nor grain parched or fresh until this same day, until you have brought the offering of your God: it is a statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings” (Leviticus 23:14).

“It is a statute forever throughout your generations.”

Sacred Bread “Every Sabbath day Aaron shall arrange it before the Lord regularly; it is from the people of Israel as a covenant forever” (Leviticus 24:8).

Trumpets “And the sons of Aaron, the priests, shall blow the trumpets. The trumpets shall be to you for a perpetual statute throughout your generations” (Numbers 10:8).

Temple “For now I have chosen and consecrated this house that My name may be there forever. My eyes and my heart will be there for all time” (2 Chronicles 7:16).

Animal Sacrifices “[The temple shall have] burnt offerings morning and evening, on the Sabbaths and the new moons and the appointed feasts of the Lord our God, as ordained forever for Israel” (2 Chronicles 2:4 cf. Leviticus 3:16-17; 7:34; Jeremiah 33:18).
