We pray that God will bless you with a desire to learn more about Jesus Christ. Our prayer is that the healing power of Jesus and his authority over all the natural world will flow into your life according to God’s will.
LET US SEEK TO UNDERSTAND
The Qur’an has many references to the followers of Jesus Christ. In many of these references, Christians are praised as having compassion and mercy in their hearts (Sura 57.27). The followers of Jesus are promised exaltation and glory in the Day of Resurrection (Sura 3.55). Muslims are directed to seek out Christians for discussion and guidance in matters concerning the prophets and scriptures (Suras 10.94; 21.7; 29.46). The Qur’an
also speaks of the reliability of the Bible, specifically the Taurat and Injil. It proclaims them as good for study and necessary for making judgments (Sura 5.45-68). Because of this, we invite our Muslim friends everywhere to ask about Jesus Christ. He is spoken of in the Qur’an as the Messenger of Allah, the Spirit from Allah and the Word from Allah. It is not clear in Islam what these terms are saying about Jesus. So Muslims are invited to let the followers of Jesus explain what the Taurat and Injil say about Jesus Christ.
