We can see this wonderful plan for the work of the Prophet Jesus from the very beginning of the creation of this world. When our father and mother, Adam and Eve (Hawa), sinned, they were forced out of the beautiful garden that God had made for them. At that time, God made a promise to them that one day he would destroy Satan. Even though it was Adam’s sin that separated him from God, our holy God in heaven showed his compassion. He came near to Adam and spoke to him. As it is written in the Taurat of Prophet Moses (Musa):

Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the LORD God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the LORD God among the trees of the garden. But the LORD God called to the man, “Where are you? “ He answered, “I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid.” And he said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree that I commanded you not to eat from?” Genesis 3.8-11

Man sinned because of Satan’s lies. Because of this, God cursed the snake (serpent) through whom Satan had worked. God promised that he would break the power of Satan.

So the LORD God said to the serpent, “Because you have done this, “Cursed are you above all the livestock and all the wild animals! You will crawl on your belly and you will eat dust all the days of your life. And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.” Genesis 3.14-15

God showed his mercy by giving man a promise. This promise was that one day someone would come from the seed of woman who would destroy the work of Satan. And so we read these words in the New Testament (Injil) portion of the Bible:

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” Jesus Christ, as recorded in John 10.10

“I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.” Jesus Christ, as recorded in Luke 10.18-20

“Now is the time for judgment on this world; now the prince of this world will be driven out. But I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to myself.” Jesus Christ, John 12.31-32
