When a man marries a wife, they make many promises to each other. A husband vows to his new wife that he will never leave her even in sickness, or poverty, or when she grows old. He vows to her that he will be faithful to her until “death do us part.” Those vows are made before the wife, those assembled for the wedding, and before God. Husbands, take those vows seriously. You have begun a wonderful relationship and experience as the husband to the bride with whom you have chosen to share your life.
