The mysteries of life stir our hearts to search for answers. Why did God let me be born? Why bless me with a spiritual nature? Why set humans apart as special? You may well share the question of David’s prayer:
When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you care for him? (Psalm 8:3-4)
The Good News intensifies such questions. Why would God want His story to touch my story? He is so far above me in every way. Why would Jesus pay such a costly price for someone as small and low as me?
